  1. Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Program (AMSEP)  2017 

Four students of the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University, namely Immanuella Yosephine Sirait (030.14.093), Viona Violeta (030.14.196), Bunga Pinantha (030.15.047) and  Elvindri Nofrithacia (030.15.068) composed the delegation to the Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Program (AMSEP) at the East Asian Medical Student Conference in 2017. This activity was held on January 9-13, 2017, in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, Australia. The student activities during their stay in Melbourne comprised among others lectures on “Climate change and the individual” and  “Climate change bites”, presentations of scientific papers, public posters and  videos and  a visit to the University of Melbourne and  local tourist sites

 

  1. Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Program (AMSEP)  2018

One student of the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University, namely Muhammad Rian Fathurrahman (030.16.101), was the Indonesian delegate to the Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Program (AMSEP) in Taiwan in  2018. This activity was held on August 18-24, 2018, in collaboration with the Taipei Medical University in Taiwan. The student activities comprised an  introduction to the Taiwanese culture and language, an introduction to the Taiwanese health care system and to Taiwanese traditional medicine, hospital tours, lectures and workshops on the preparation of Chinese traditional medicines, lectures from the Neurology Department and  visits to local tourist sites

  1. Malaysian World Health Assembly 2019 (MyWHA 2019)

The Malaysian World Health Assembly 2019 (MyWHA 2019) was held on March 29-31, 2019, located at the International Medical University of Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian World Health Assembly 2019 is a conference of medical students that aims to discuss health care policies and problems that are global issues  and provides solutions to improve the health care quality in the future for the next generation. The representative of the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University, Muhammad Rian Fathurrahman,  in company with 30 other delegates from various  Faculties of Medicine  in  Indonesia joined other medical students from various countries to discuss a number of global health issues, such as HIV/AIDS, depression and suicide, stunting and malnutrition.

  1. Asian Medical Student Exchange Program (AMSEP) Taiwan 2019

Five students of the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University, namely Ichtiwa Aruni Putri  030.17.061, Sahda Alfreda Putri 030.17.103, Bianda Astari Warman 030.18.124, Dian Maharani Putri 030.18.117, and  Rania Putri Dharma 030.18.084, were the Indonesian delegates to the Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Program (AMSEP) in Taiwan in 2019. These activities were held from July 16-19, 2019, in cooperation with Chang Gung University, Taiwan. The AMSEP activities consisted of Taichi classes, Indonesian and Taiwanese cuisine, lectures and workshops on traditional Chinese medicine, Introduction to Taiwanese culture and language, and  visits to a number of local tourist sites in Taoyuan City.

  1. Asian Medical Student Exchange Program (AMSEP) Indonesia 2019

The Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University organized the “Asian Medical Student Exchange Program (AMSEP)” in Indonesia for Taiwanese students on August 16-23, 2019. AMSEP is a student exchange program of all Asian Faculties of Medicine, and the present session was attended by 10 student delegates from Cang Gung University, Taiwan, who visited the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University.

The delegates were welcomed by Dr. dr. Raditya Wratsangka, SpOG (K) as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, assisted by Dr. dr. Elly Herwana, M.Biomed as Vice Dean I, dr. Tubagus Ferdi Fadillah, Sp.A., MKes as Vice Dean  III and  dr. Rita Khairani, M.Kes, Sp.P as Vice Dean IV.

In his welcoming address the Dean expressed his expectations that the students from  Cang Gung University in Taiwan would gain valuable experience during their stay in Indonesia, both about Indonesian medical issues and Indonesian culture, such that the Cang Gung students upon return to their homeland may provide positive Information to their colleagues on  Indonesia in general and  the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University in particular. These AMSEP activities consisted of a visit to the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University, an academic session with topics on tuberculosis, circumcision training, Indonesian Independence Day celebrations, and visits to the Tebet District Public Health Center and local tourist sites.

  1. International Seminar on Safety in the Work Place for Healthy Workers

The Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University organized an international seminar titled Safety of the Work Place for Healthy Workers on February 27, 2020. The students of the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University participated in poster and oral presentation competitions that were attended not only by the students but also by doctors from various institutions.  Seven students of the Faculty of Medicine of Trisakti University, namely Yudha Maulana, Maria Chindyvita, Bimo Suryo Pribadi, Eva Wulandari, Noviara Ghita Thiananda, and Sabrina Tadjoedin succeeded in becoming 3rd champions in the poster competition category.
