Pusgiwa, University of Indonesia, February 25, 2025 – The Trimedika Choir achieved fourth place with a score of 82.5 at the 19th National Folklore Festival, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the University of Indonesia. This achievement earned them a gold medal and the title of Favorite Champion based on audience voting.

The competition, aimed at preserving culture, particularly traditional dances and regional songs, was attended by 13 participants from the general category. The event was divided into two categories: Category A for high school students and Category B for the general public. Each participant was required to perform two songs: one mandatory song and one chosen song.

The competition’s judging panel consisted of Agus Yuwono, Budi Susanto Yohanes, and Agustinus Bambang Jusana, who evaluated each performance impartially.

The competition results included awards for the Grand Champion, Favorite Champion, Best Conductor, and medals awarded according to the total score of each team. Each winner also received a certificate and medal in recognition of their achievement.

The success of the Trimedika Choir in this competition serves as a testament to the dedication and hard work that can lead to remarkable results, while also inspiring efforts to continue preserving Indonesia’s rich cultural traditions.
