Study Visit of Universitas Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari Banjarmasin to the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti

Jakarta, November 13, 2024 – Universitas Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari (Uniska) Banjarmasin conducted a study visit to the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti (FK Usakti) on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The visit aimed to update the learning infrastructure and facilities for medical education. The Uniska delegation was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FK Usakti along with the Vice Deans.

The event began with an amicable introduction session, where representatives from both institutions introduced themselves. Dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, the Dean of FK Usakti, then delivered a presentation about the faculty’s profile, along with its vision and mission for advancing medical education.

During the visit, both parties exchanged insights on the latest developments in medical education, particularly innovations in facilities that support the learning process. The discussions were interactive, with numerous questions from Uniska representatives eager to learn more about the resources available at FK Usakti.

Following the discussion session, the Uniska delegation toured various laboratories at FK Usakti. The visitors observed firsthand the facilities used in the learning process, including the anatomy laboratory, medical simulation lab, and clinical laboratory. These facilities are expected to serve as a reference for enhancing medical education infrastructure at Uniska Banjarmasin.

The representatives of Universitas Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari Banjarmasin expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and guidance provided by FK Usakti. They hope that this visit will inspire improvements in the educational facilities and resources at Uniska Banjarmasin.

This study visit represents a positive step toward strengthening the quality of medical education at Universitas Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari Banjarmasin. With the updates gained through this visit, Uniska is expected to continue developing and producing graduates who are well-prepared to meet challenges in the medical field.
