Tegal, August 12, 2025 — Bulog, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti (FK Usakti), and the Regional Government of Tegal Regency, held a free health screening for toddlers in Karangdawa Village, Margasari District, Tegal Regency, on Tuesday (August 12, 2025).
This initiative is part of Bulog’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Program “Bulog Peduli Gizi 2025”, which this year focuses on toddlers affected by stunting. The health screening included comprehensive examinations such as weight and height measurements, nutritional status assessments, and health consultations with medical professionals from FK Usakti.
As part of its Community Service Program, FK Usakti contributed by providing education on child-feeding practices, parental guidance for mothers, and monitoring of toddler nutritional status for the next three months. In addition, FK Usakti lecturers involved in the program offered referrals and recommendations for children with specific health concerns to be followed up by the local community health center (puskesmas). The participating lecturers were Dr. Gita Handayani, MPH, and Dr. Nathalia Ningrum, Sp.A., AIFO-K.
Alongside the free health services, Bulog also distributed nutritious food aid, including Fortivit rice enriched with vitamins and minerals as well as formula milk to support children’s growth and development.
The Regional Government of Tegal Regency welcomed this program and expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue in the future to help realize a healthier and higher-quality generation.
