Jakarta, February 1, 2025 – The Asian Medical Students’ Association of Universitas Trisakti (AMSA-Usakti) successfully organized AXILARIS X BISIK 2025 (AMSA Regional Exchange X Bincang Asik) on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The event took place at the Mini Theater of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti, and was attended by Dr. dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti; dr. Donna Adriani Kusumadewi M, M.Biomed, Vice Dean 3 of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti; and dr. Triasti Khusfiani, Sp.FK, Advisor of AMSA-Usakti.

With the theme “Childhood Cancer,” the event aimed to raise awareness and understanding among medical students regarding childhood cancer and its prevention efforts. AMSA-Usakti collaborated with AMSA-UKI and AMSA-UGJ for the successful implementation of this event.

AXILARIS X BISIK 2025 featured various engaging activities. The event began with a Lecture Session led by Dr. dr. Tubagus Ferdi Fadilah, Sp.A, M.Kes, as the main speaker. This was followed by a Talkshow with an NGO, featuring Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia, which discussed support for children with cancer.

Additionally, a Sociocultural session attracted significant interest, where participants had the opportunity to engage in batik making as a form of artistic and cultural expression. The event also featured a Podcast session with delegates, offering an interactive and inspiring platform for discussion.

Through the success of AXILARIS X BISIK 2025, AMSA-Usakti hopes to have a positive impact on medical students, fostering greater awareness of children’s health, particularly in the management and prevention of childhood cancer in Indonesia.
