On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, the Medical Faculty Universitas Trisakti visited the Location of the Field Study Module at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Institut Pertanian Bogor. The survey team was led by Deputy Dean IV, Dr. Rita Khairani, M.Kes., Sp.P., accompanied by Dr. Patwa Amani, M.Kes., and the students who would participate in the elective module.

This visit was part of the implementation of the elective module for Universitas Trisakti’s medical students, with the aim of facilitating students to achieve various predetermined learning outcomes, especially to enable them to become lifelong learners, a quality highly valued in a medical professional. Students were also expected to master skills in Animal Laboratory Handling and contribute to innovations in that field.

The visit was well-received by the Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Drh. Amrozi, Ph.D., and the Vice Dean for Resources, Cooperation, and Development of the School, Dr. drh. Andriyanto, MSi.

It is hoped that this visit will strengthen the bond of friendship and establish the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Institut Pertanian Bogor as one of the field learning venues for elective modules, contributing to the fulfillment of competencies based on the National Standards for Medical Education.
