The AMSA (Asian Medical Students’ Association) from Medical Faculty Universitas Trisakti organized the “Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Program (AMSEP) University of Hong Kong and Chinese University of Hong Kong,” which took place from Thursday, January 4, to Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

One of AMSA’s international programs is the Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Program (AMSEP), which is a student exchange program among chapters or countries affiliated with AMSA International. This student exchange program is open to all AMSA-Indonesia members and relevant twinning chapters. The number of delegates participating in the AMSEP program ranges from 6 to 12, and the program duration is 6 to 8 days. On this occasion, AMSA USAKTI had the opportunity to host the Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Program for the University of Hong Kong and Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The delegates were welcomed by Dr. dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, the Dean of the Medical Faculty USAKTI, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, the Rector of Universitas Trisakti. Various activities during the AMSEP program included events related to Academic, Social Action, Culture, and City Tour.

The aim of this program is to introduce the medical education system at the Medical Faculty Universitas Trisakti, to the delegates, familiarize the Hong Kong delegates with the social and cultural aspects of Indonesia, enhance AMSA-Usakti’s participation in AMSEP activities, and improve the accreditation points for the Medical Faculty Universitas Trisakti.
